72 pilgrims from across the country left today to visit Katasraj in Pakistan. These pilgrims gathered at Shri Durgiana Tirtha in Amritsar, from where they will reach Pakistan via Wagah. This group will return to India on 25th December after visiting different places.

To join this group, devotees who came from different states across the country gathered at Durgiana Tirtha, where under the leadership of Pradhan Laxmikanta Chawla, they left for the journey to Pakistan.
During this, Chairman of Durgiana Tirtha Committee and former minister Lakshmi Kanta Chawla said that Shiv Parivar Group from Tata Nagar is leaving for Pakistan today to visit Katasraj. 72 Hindu devotees who have come from different states of India are going to visit their Gurudhams in Pakistan.
Let us tell you that 116 people had applied for visa to visit Pakistan, but only 82 people could get the visa. 10 passengers are not going on the journey due to their personal reasons. The second batch will leave for Pakistan on Shivratri.

Last year 55 passengers got visas
He said that more and more Hindu pilgrims should get visas, so that they can visit the shrines of their gurus. On December 25, this group will reach India via Attari-Wagah border after having darshan of their gurus. Vijay Kumar, who came from Tata Nagar, said that last time 55 people had got visas, but this time the number has increased.
He told that every year more and more people come to him with inquiries to visit the pilgrimage in Pakistan. Efforts are made to ensure that everyone gets a visa. He told that apart from seeing Shri Katasraj in Chakwal, Pakistan, there will also be darshan and bathing in Radha Krishna Temple, Shri Valmiki Ji’s temple and Amrit Kund.
