Bangladesh beat the West Indies by 27 runs in the second T20I and confirmed the series win with one match in hand. With this victory, the Tigers won the T20 series against the West Indies after six years.
Bangladesh lost the toss in St. Vincent on Wednesday (December 18) and got a capital of 129 runs due to the failure of the batsmen to bat first. It is not very big in T20. Against the hosts, Bangladesh needed a good start with the ball. That’s what the Tiger Bowlers have done brilliantly with this medium capital. Bangladesh could not take wickets in the first two overs. However, in the third over of the innings, Taskin took a double catch. Brandon King (8 for 5) and Andre Fletcher (0 for 4) returned the first and fifth balls of the over. In the next over, Sheikh Mehdi trapped Johnson Charles (12 balls, 15) LBW.
