DC Studios is moving forward with its cinematic universe plans, with a September 11, 2026 release date for the Clayface movie and a June 30, 2028 release date for the Robin animated film, Dynamic Duo.
The comic book company today confirmed the newly added spots on its theatrical release calendar. Time is still needed to mold Clayface into a finished project, so plot details have yet to be revealed. However, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard of a Batman villain standalone movie. time limit Flanagan’s interest in a film about the character in 2023 reported that he pitched an idea to DC that was not taken up at the time. In 2021, the filmmaker teased how he might approach a Clayface movie, saying it could be a “standalone” story and a “horror/thriller/tragedy.” It’s unclear if those wishes will play a role in the movie that’s eventually released.
