There’s nothing like waking up in the morning to discover that a new update has been dropped for your favorite Roblox experience. Anyone who’s tried Phish knows exactly what they’re in for. And if you’re on the fence, the latest Phase 2 Winter Update brings tons of new features to the game to make it better than ever.
Along with several buffs and nerfs for our favorite fishing rods, we can also look forward to a new winter-themed quest. This is a pretty heavy update, so get ready to see what awaits you below
Phish Winter Update Phase 2 Patch Notes and Hotfixes
Below, you’ll find all the patch notes for Winter Update Phase 2, along with some additional hotfixes pushed by the development team behind FISCH:

No-Life Rod:
- Seduction Speed: 70% -> 90%
- Luck: 100% -> 105%
- Control: 0.25 -> 0.23
- Elasticity: 12% -> 10%
C$ Crate:
- Moosewood Collection: C$50,000 -> C$25,000
- Desert Collection: C$150,000 -> C$75,000
- Ancient Island Collection: C$350,000 -> C$175,000
Hotfix #2
- Major FPS improvement
- Crash rate is significantly reduced
- Gameplay breaks should no longer occur frequently. If they do happen, it’s now very momentary and will only pause your gameplay if you move too fast in the ocean to render the map.
- Inventory systems were not the main cause of performance problems. We have reverted the page system and will maintain the original inventory system.
Hotfix #3
- Fixed limited bestiaries not showing their contents
- “All” hid limited fish in the bestiary
All these updates make Fish even better. It’s already one of the most immersive experiences you can play on the platform, but the addition of Rod Buff makes it even more worthwhile. Get ready to start exploring the seven seas while searching for these new items.
