Ingredients for Making Besan Ladoo
Chickpeas or Besan- 1 cup Sugar- 1 cup, Ghee- 2-3 spoons, Water- 1 cup, Almonds, Pistachios- Vateli, Cardamom powder- 1 spoon, Raisins- 10-12 spoons, White Sesame seeds- 2-3 spoons
How to make Besan Laddu
To make laddoos, first wash chickpeas well and soak them in water for 2-3 hours. Then strain it with water and put it in a grinder to make a paste. Now heat ghee in a pan, then add this paste or besan to it and fry well in low flame. Fry the lentils until golden. Now add 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar in a pan to make syrup. Boil it and prepare the syrup.
Add sugar syrup and mix well.
Now mix the fried dal with sugar syrup well. After that, cook the mixture on low heat until it becomes a thick paste. But remember one thing that the pan mixture should not stick to the surface of the pan. Cool the mixture on a plate. Add cardamom powder, almonds, pistachios and raisins and mix. Make round laddoos by hand from this mixture.
Garnish the laddoos with white base.
Put white flour on the laddus for decoration. You can also add roasted almonds and pistachios on top. Keep the laddoos for a while to cool down. Now the chickpea dal ladoo is ready.
