The horror film Nosferatu already has a coffin popcorn bucket and a replica sarcophagus bed you can actually sleep in. Now, taking the collaborations to the next level is a real-life casket that costs $4,000
Robert Eggers’ upcoming Nosferatu remake partnered with Titan Casket to design a casket inspired “by the haunting aesthetic and rich storytelling of this highly anticipated movie.”
“At Titan, we believe in finding creative ways to normalize the conversation around death and funeral planning,” said Josh Siegel, co-founder of Titan Casket. “Collaborating on such an iconic project is not only a fun way to showcase our craft but also aligns with our mission to make future planning accessible and meaningful.”
The custom Nosferatu casket is designed for fans of the film “and those drawn to the gothic elegance.” It “combines the famous quality of Titan Casket with cinematic artistry, capturing the quirky yet sophisticated essence of the movie.”
As for the Nosferatu movie, it is set for Christmas 2024 and stars Bill Skarsgård, Nicholas Hoult, Lily-Rose Depp, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Emma Corrine, Ralf Inson, Simon McBurney and Willem Dafoe. IGN’s Nosferatu review returned a 9/10. We said: “Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu may be a modern horror classic, given how frighteningly and sensibly it approaches old material, but it feels completely new.”
