ED conducts search operation at 21 places in Delhi, Mumbai and Pune in MagicWin case, Rs 30 lakh seized
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted a search operation at 21 places in Delhi, Mumbai and Pune regarding the MagicWin case. The MagicWin case pertains to illegal broadcasting and online betting of the Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup.
On Tuesday, ED informed that this search operation was conducted under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) on December 10 and 12. During this, Rs 30 lakh, illegal documents and digital devices were seized. This action was taken after Ahmedabad Cyber Crime Police registered an FIR against MagicWin App and others.
Repair of gem store of Puri’s Jagannath temple begins, may take 3 months
The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) started the repair work of the gem store of Puri’s Jagannath Temple on Tuesday. Odisha Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan said that the repair work started at 1 pm and will continue till 6 pm.
ASI has assured to complete the repairs in three months, but the state government has asked to do it as soon as possible. The repair work will be done without affecting the 12th century structure of the temple and the daily worship of the deities.
ASI officer D.B. Garnayak said that first scaffolding will be installed, after that plaster will be removed from the walls and cleaning will be done and old iron beams and cracked stones will be repaired.
The interiors and exteriors of Ratna Bhandar will be repaired, but this work will not be done on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, so that the devotees are not inconvenienced.

Bahrain bound Air India flight makes emergency landing at Cochin International Airport
The Air India Express flight that left for Bahrain on Tuesday from Kerala’s Cochin International Airport was called back due to a tire failure. Sources said that the flight has made an emergency landing at Cochin Airport and all the passengers are safe.

On December 13, 30 schools in Delhi had received threats. The person sending the email to schools wrote that there would be bomb blasts on parents meeting and sports day on 13-14 December.
On December 9, a mail was received threatening to bomb 44 schools. After the threat the children were sent back home. The sender of the mail had asked for 30 thousand US dollars in exchange for not detonating the bomb.
Bus and dumper truck collide in Gujarat’s Bhavnagar district, 6 dead, 10 injured
A bus and a dumper collided in Bhavnagar, Gujarat on Tuesday morning, in which six people died and about 10 were injured. According to the police, the accident happened near Trapaj village at around 6 am in the morning, when the bus was going from Bhavnagar towards Mahuva.
The bus hit the dumper from behind. The collision was so strong that the front part of the bus was badly damaged. The injured are undergoing treatment in the hospital and it is said that they are out of danger.
