In an interview with Time magazine on Thursday (December 12), Trump said, “It’s crazy.” I strongly object to Russia being allowed to launch missiles within a few hundred miles. Why are we doing that? We are only increasing the tension in this war and making the situation more complicated. It should not be allowed to do so.
Trump was elected President of the United States last month. After the election, incumbent President Joe Biden lifted a ban on strikes inside Russia with US-supplied long-range missiles over Ukraine. Before that, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy repeatedly asked the US for this approval. But initially the United States did not allow it.

Last month, the White House cited Russia as sending 15,000 troops to Ukraine to fight North Korea. Because of this, Biden is changing his opinion. Basically, it was Biden’s last attempt to boost Ukraine’s morale in the war.
Trump said that he wants a quick end to the war in Ukraine that has been going on for almost three years. “I have a great plan to help,” he told Time magazine. But if it were to be revealed now, it would become a pointless scheme.

Trump also said, “I want to reach a deal.” And abandonment is not the only way to reach an agreement. I am talking to both sides. It would be better for both parties to reach an agreement.
