The statement said the total death toll in Gaza in the past 14 months since the latest Israeli attack has reached 44,875. Besides, 1,06,454 people were injured this time. However, the actual number of dead and injured is much higher. Because many people are still buried under the rubble. At that time, due to lack of necessary equipment and manpower, it was not possible to rescue them.
In 2023, the armed group Hamas entered the territory of Israel and carried out an ambush. At that time they fired indiscriminately and killed 1,200 people and took 242 hostages.
Meanwhile, the Israeli forces started an operation in Gaza from that day to free the hostages.
On the other hand, the United Nations and the international community have called on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to stop military operations in Gaza several times. A case of genocide against Israel has already been filed in the United Nations International Court of Justice (ICJ).
