Ingredients for Chickpea Dal Pakora
What is needed to make chickpea pakora?
- 1 cup soaked chickpeas
- 1/2 cup minced pickled onion
- 2 green chillies
- 1/4 cup green gram
- 1 inch peeled peaches
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon asafoetida
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
- 1/4 teaspoon garam masala
- Salt and oil as per taste.
How to make Chanani Dal Pakora
- To make Chanani Dal Pakora, first grind the soaked lentils in a mixer to make a paste. Make sure that the paste is not too thick.
- Mix finely chopped onions, green chillies, coriander leaves, peaches, cumin seeds, asafoetida, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, garam masala and coriander powder in the dal paste.
- Now stir the mixture well, tamaru kheer is ready.
- Now heat oil in a pan
- Once the oil is hot enough, take small portions of the mixture and fry.
- Fry the pakoras till light brown.
- When golden, serve with curd or chutney.
Add vegetables as per your choice
You can add your favorite vegetables to this pakora or add spices as per your choice. To make pakoras tastier, you can also add gram flour to it.
