Boil raw milk and eat it hot, otherwise there is no peace, no one can prevent health damage. A new study shows that raw milk, often consumed more often than boiled or pasteurized milk, hides the danger. Studies have shown that flu viruses can remain active in raw milk stored in the refrigerator for up to five days. The Stanford University study comes amid concerns about the spread of bird flu to dairy cows.

What are the benefits of pasteurizing or boiling milk?
Boiling milk at high temperature for a short period of time is best to kill harmful bacteria and viruses, also known as the pasteurized process. This makes the milk safe to drink and also helps increase its shelf life. This significantly increases the taste or nutritional value of milk but reduces the risk of illness.
Different opinions on raw milk
Each year, more than 14 million Americans drink raw milk. Those who consume raw milk claim that it contains more beneficial nutrients, enzymes and probiotics, which can aid in immune and digestive health. However, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has attributed more than 200 illness outbreaks to raw milk. In addition to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the FDA also warns that raw milk contains E. Can contain dangerous bacteria such as coli and salmonella, which can be especially dangerous for children, the elderly, pregnant women and people with weakened immune systems. The study also found that one type of flu virus (H1N1 PR8) can survive in raw milk kept at normal frozen or frozen temperatures for up to five days.
Mengang Zhang, the study’s lead author and a postdoctoral researcher in civil and environmental engineering, said that the fact that the flu virus can remain infectious in raw milk for several days is a concern. The virus can be dangerous to both animals and humans. In comparison, boiling milk completely eliminates the infectious flu virus and reduces the amount of viral RNA — which carries the virus’s genetic information but does not cause illness — by about 90 percent, though it does not completely eliminate it.

Incidentally, in the United States, the flu virus infects more than 40 million people and causes more than 50,000 deaths each year. These viruses can spread from animals to humans, as happened during the 2009–2010 swine flu outbreak, which infected 1.4 billion people worldwide.
Although bird flu has not yet become very dangerous to humans, it could change and become a major threat. Recently, bird flu has been found in cattle, raising concerns about its spread through milk and other dairy products. Earlier, researchers conducted research on tracking bird flu. That study found that dairy farm waste could be a major source of the virus. Boehm said, ‘We never thought that wastewater could be used to track and respond to diseases that can spread between animals and humans.’
