Greenland lies between the Arctic Ocean and the North Atlantic Ocean. Nearby countries include Canada and Iceland.
However, the natives of this country, the Inuit, look like Mongolian-style Asians! But, how is this possible? Greenland is a long way from Asia. And the surrounding North American or European population does not look like this.
Its sources can be found in various stories and history. Accordingly, the Inuit did not live here many, many years ago. They actually came from as far away as Siberia and other parts of Asia!
History claims that an amazing and extensive migration took place about 5,000 years ago! The present-day Inuit inhabitants of Greenland, their ancestors reached Greenland from distant Siberia and adjacent areas through the very narrow Bering Strait.
Incidentally, the Bering Strait is a landmass that used to connect North America with Asia. It was along this route that the ancestors of the Inuit reached the harsh climate of the North Pole. And later settled permanently in this area.
In order to survive in this area, the ancestors of the Inuit had to learn many new things. They gradually become skilled hunters. Learn to build an extraordinary habitat with ice. Which is well known as Igloo all over the world. and sewed the skins of domesticated animals into warm clothes. Which can handle the cold in Konkan in North Meru Province.
Besides, they also have to make necessary changes in their diet. Remnants of which still exist today. The Inuit here derive their nutrition mainly from a variety of seafood. Including various species of oily fish, seals, even whales. This kind of food is able to provide their body with the amount of energy, which is very necessary to survive in such an extreme climate.
The greatest evidence that the Inuit are of Asian origin is found in their appearance. Their mouths are wide, jawbones are high and their eyes are diamond-shaped.
However, just how dangerous it is to build a settlement in this area is evident from the life of the Inuit. Because they spend long periods of time in open snowy wilderness and the sun’s harsh rays are directly reflected in that wilderness, the Inuit often suffer from snow blindness.
To deal with this problem, the Inuit have developed a special type of ‘sun glasses’. which protects their eyes from the intense sunlight reflected off the ice. In fact, a layer of skin has formed over their eyes. which corresponds to the Mongolian face.
